Daniel Felton, MD

President and Chief Executive Officer

Daniel serves as president and chief executive officer for EngageMED, which provides management services for almost 600 healthcare providers. He has been involved with EngageMED since 2003, first as a client, then as a board member, and in 2016 he became president and CEO. Daniel believes organizations should focus on delivering value to all stakeholders. He applies that tenant every day at EngageMED, where they partner with clients to deliver strategies and solutions to impact the success of healthcare practices.

A native Arkansan, Daniel graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, before attending the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he received his M.D. in 2000. He completed his residency at the University of South Carolina Department of Family and Preventative Medicine and returned to Arkansas to join Little Rock Family Practice, where he practiced for over 16 years. During that time, he became a champion of quality and value-based care initiatives and developed a keen interest in integrating population health management into practices. He chaired the committee that established Arkansas Health Network, the largest clinically integrated network in Arkansas, subsequently serving eight years as the Chairman of the Board and for a period as interim Chief Medical Officer.

Daniel developed a passion for helping others at a young age, which led him to a career in medicine. He is a lifelong learner and pursuer of excellence who thrives on personal relationships and making a difference in others' lives. Daniel genuinely enjoys empowering and encouraging others to pursue personal wellness and making wellness opportunities accessible to EngageMED’s employees and their families. He loves spending time with his family and participating in almost any outdoor activity, especially snow skiing and hiking. Daniel's other professional experiences include presiding as President of Arkansas Family Care Network, a multispecialty medical group, from 2016 through 2022. Daniel and his family live in Little Rock and are active members of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Parish. He is a past board member of the Young Patrons of the Arkansas Arts Center, now the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and he is a member of Young Presidents' Organization, American and Arkansas Academies of Family Physicians, Arkansas Medical Society, and Medical Group Management Association.
